| Two important engineering projects for Frencken Mechatronics |
|
|
Recently, Frencken Mechatronics was rewarded with orders for 2 important
engineering projects. Both these projects will be carried out for a renowned
OEM in the semi-conductor industry and the scope will be 2 different lines
of turn-key machines. Also crucial in both cases is that after design phase,
Supply Chain Management and Dedicated Assembly will be carried out at
Frencken. Further key words that describe these projects are: 300 mm wafer
handling, motion control, vacuum cambers, cost reduction and extremely short
time to market. With respect to these projects Jeroen Bresser, head of the Frencken Mechatronics engineering department says: “Both projects fit well within the strategy and roadmap of our company. It is interesting to see that renowned companies acknowledge Frencken’s development capabilities. Our competence is to develop high-end mechatronical systems, with an emphasis on design for assembly and manufacturing. These are good examples of projects in which our customers focus on their processes whereas we are given the task to develop a machine in the shortest time that performs at the lowest cost. In the development of a complete wafer handling including motion control, we can use most of our expertise”. ![]() Jeroen Bresser, head of the Frencken Mechatronics engineering department. |
